Designed for birthworkers, advocates, and perinatal social workers, this space explores storytelling as a tool for liberation, healing, and justice.

Rooted in Critical Race Theory (CRT), storytelling amplifies lived experiences to expose inequities and disrupt dominant narratives, fostering dialogue in the Freirean tradition that encourages critical reflection and collective action.

In reproductive justice, storytelling uncovers how race, gender, and class impact healthcare access and bodily autonomy. It fosters understanding, challenges power, and drives change.
Many of the flowers featured on this site were intentionally chosen for their symbolism of strength and resilience, as well as their historical and contemporary use in reproductive and sexual health. These plantcestors represent the enduring spirit of communities working for liberation, healing, and justice.
